Description
Practice Supervisor Training for Registered Managers
This course is designed to prepare CQC-registered managers to confidently take on the role of Practice Supervisor for nursing students. Through four short modules, you’ll explore the context of student supervision in social care, understand the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards, and build the skills needed to create safe, supportive, and inclusive learning environments.
You’ll gain clear guidance on your responsibilities, learn techniques for welcoming and orientating students, setting goals, giving feedback, and managing challenges. Case studies, videos, and downloadable tools bring the learning to life and help you apply it directly to your workplace.
By completing this programme, you will be suitably prepared to act as a Practice Supervisor in line with the NMC Standards for Student Supervision and Assessment (2018) — playing a vital role in shaping the nurses, and nursing associates of tomorrow and showcasing the value of the social care sector.
